Caterpillar Off-Road ECM Programming
3K Calibrations provides custom Caterpillar ECM programming and tuning for off-road and industrial equipment throughout Canada and the USA. We support a wide range of CAT engines used in construction, mining, forestry, agriculture, material handling and other heavy-equipment applications.
Custom CAT Calibration
Every calibration is built specifically for the engine, equipment and application. Depending on the ECM and application, we can adjust supported parameters including horsepower, torque delivery, throttle response, governed speed and other operating settings.
Remote Programming
Many Caterpillar off-road applications can be programmed remotely using CAT communication hardware and a Windows laptop with an internet connection. This allows us to complete the programming without shipping the ECM in many cases.
Built for Working Equipment
Our CAT calibrations are designed around how the machine is actually used. Whether it's an excavator, wheel loader, dozer, haul truck, skid steer or other industrial equipment, we build the calibration around the engine and operating requirements.
How It Works
Programming Method
Many Caterpillar off-road applications can be programmed remotely using CAT communication hardware and a Windows laptop with an internet connection. If you do not already have the required hardware, we can provide a complete remote programming setup.
Custom Calibration

Remote Programming
Most supported Caterpillar off-road applications can be completed remotely without removing or shipping the ECM. Once connected to the machine, our technician completes the programming remotely.
What We Need
Send us the machine year, model, engine model, engine serial number and a clear picture of the ECM label. We’ll identify the engine and ECM, confirm support and determine the correct programming method before getting started.
