Isuzu On-Road ECM Programming
3K Calibrations provides custom ECM programming for Isuzu NPR, NQR and NRR trucks throughout Canada and the USA. We support the common 3.0L and 5.2L diesel applications, with each calibration built around the exact truck, engine and software configuration.
How Isuzu Programming Works
Most Isuzu on-road ECMs need to be removed from the truck and shipped to us for programming.
If you want the job completed without shipping the ECM, we also have a dedicated remote programming kit that we can ship to you. With that kit connected direct to ECM and ACM, our technician can access the system remotely and complete the programming from start to finish.
Remote Isuzu Tuning
Full remote tuning is available using our Isuzu programming kit. We ship you our laptop and the required communication equipment, provide setup instructions, and then our technician connects remotely to the laptop and handles the programming from start to finish.
Shipping Your Isuzu ECM and ACM
If you prefer to send the ECM in, we make that easy too. We provide the shipping labels and handle all required customs paperwork.
For customers in the USA, we offer $200 USD overnight shipping both ways. You box up the ECM, attach the paperwork we provide, and ship it out. We handle the rest and send it back overnight once programming is complete.
Supported Isuzu On-Road Applications
We support Isuzu NPR, NPR-HD, NQR and NRR applications with 3.0L and 5.2L diesel engines.
Support is confirmed using the truck information, VIN, engine details and ECM information before programming begins.
How It Works
How Isuzu On-Road Remote Tuning Works
1. Confirm Your Truck and Engine
Send us the truck year, make and model, Isuzu engine model, and engine serial number. We’ll confirm support and the correct programming method.
2. Connect to the Truck
Programming is completed remotely on supported applications using a Windows laptop and the correct communication device connected directly to the truck.
3. We Connect Remotely
Our technician connects to your laptop and handles the programming process from start to finish.
4. Custom Calibration
Every calibration is built for your specific engine, ECM and application. We can adjust supported parameters based on how the truck is used and what you need from it.
5. Programming Is Completed on the Truck
There is no need to remove and ship the ECM for supported remote applications. Once programming is complete, the truck is ready to go.

Supported Isuzu On-Road Engines
3.0L Isuzu
4JJ1 / 4JJ1-TC
Commonly found in smaller Isuzu NPR and NPR Eco-Max applications.
5.2L Isuzu
4HK1 / 4HK1-TC
Used across many Isuzu commercial trucks including:
NPR
NPR-HD
NQR
NRR
Both pre-DEF and DEF-equipped 5.2L applications are supported. The programming method depends on the model year, ECM configuration and aftertreatment system.
Isuzu ECM Platforms
Both 2-plug and 3-plug Isuzu ECM applications are supported on applicable 5.2L trucks.
Some applications can be completed with our remote programming kit, while others require the ECM and/or ACM to be removed and shipped to us.
Important
We do not support 7.8L Isuzu on-highway applications.
